About the Organization: 

The International Association for the Care of Victims of Wars and Disasters (IRVD) is one of the institutions affiliated with Al-Ameen for Humanitarian Support. IRVD is an international, non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian organization founded in 2012 by a group of volunteers to support communities affected by humanitarian crises around the world. The organization is registered in Sweden, Turkey, the United States, and the United Kingdom. It implements its programs across the Middle East through regional offices under the name “International Association” in Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq, and Somalia, and under the name “Al-Ameen” in Syria, Yemen, Palestine, Sudan, and Egypt. 

IRVD focuses its humanitarian efforts in key sectors including health, nutrition, education, protection, food security, water and sanitation, shelter and non-food items, civil society development, and the formation of strategic partnerships with major donors and international partners in the humanitarian sector. 

Job Purpose: 

IRVD is seeking a community outreach worker to Develop monthly and annual plans for health awareness programs 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. Develop monthly and annual plans for health awareness programs—both within and outside the dialysis center—with a focus on raising awareness in the surrounding community.
2. Conduct field visits to disseminate health awareness and healthcare messages within the community surrounding the center.
3. Conduct individual and group health awareness sessions for the center’s patients.
4. Assist the medical and nursing teams as needed to ensure smooth workflow operations.
5. Attend accredited training courses to enhance professional skills and performance.
6. Prepare and submit periodic reports to the direct supervisor on schedule.
7. Explain dietary guidelines to patients with renal failure to ensure adherence to a healthy diet appropriate for their medical condition.
8. Perform any additional tasks assigned within the scope of the role, in accordance with operational needs.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills: 

• Ability to perform work in a professional and mature manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
