World Refugee Day

By the end of 2020, more than 82 million people in the world were forced to leave their countries and homes to escape violence and in search of a better future, according to reports by the “United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees” It is worth noting that about half of the world’s refugees are children, and a large proportion of them are of Syrian.

Every year the “World Refugee Day” is celebrated on June 20, to support refugees all over the world, and remind the world of their responsibility towards them. The United Nations and the host countries bear the major responsibility in caring for refugees and ensuring their access to their rights such as food, housing, medical care, and education.

And based on its humanitarian duty and its mission to be of help to people everywhere, “IRVD” assistance also stresses the importance of supporting refugees and fulfilling their basic humanitarian requirements and granting them the full right to a better life. Indeed, “IRVD” as it always is, combines this saying and with the act, through her activities in many places of conflict and displacement around the world, and through her active, tireless, and sincere quest to be of help to the human being, in the situations in which he most needs help.
